Presented by Plan X,  "VIBRATIONS" is the first Italian solo show

by the painter Maxwell McMaster.

His work typically takes inspiration from his native state.

Maxwell uses color shape and texture to enhance and deepen scenes from his travels and everyday life.  

The result is typically abstract and minimal in design but somehow complex in  appearance.

The images invite the viewer to reflect on life, and its mysteries while reminding us of the beauty in it.

In his new body of work “Vibrations,” Maxwell has created seven paintings and one sight-specific

installation in the spirit of adventure and travel.  

“Vibrations” is an imaginary exploration of a foreign land.  

Set on the island, “Vibrations” is a testament to the beauty of Capri and its’ timelessness.

These works invite the viewer to look past their own worldly perceptions and imagine what might be taking place behind the scenes of this majestic and otherworldly place.
